Magician Jim Perry & Forget Me Not Cupcake-A delicious assortment of gourmet fresh bake cupcake.
Yellow-green lights weaved through the summer air. I turned to a young friend, who sat nearby and said, "Look fairies." With confidence the boy replied, "No they're not, they're lightning bugs. "Some few are fairies," Iinsisted. That night, I recaptured my love of Magic. Magic is Wonder.
I was lucky enough to study magic with my father, who learned from his Vaudevillian uncle. My father, also named Jim, began performing locally at nine years old, and by thirteen he was invited to perform as a ventriloquist on television's Radio City Music Hall based "Ted Mack" show. He continued to perform throughout his life, teaching the art to his children. During the 1980's the family performed as the retinue, Magic Incorporated. While I continued to appear in the family's seasonal shows, I pursued a year-round solo career performing at private, service group and corporate parties throughout the Catskill mountains, as well as commercial and club shows. During the nineties and into the millennium, I pursued other creative interests and performed on a limited basis.
The show is back with even more wonder. Jim Perry Magic conjures magical theatre on stage, up close, and in your heart. His latest creation is the Firefly illusion which transforms a firefly into a human-sized faerie. See more of the wonder at http://jimperrymagic.com or facebook or twitter.
